Constantly crashes... Delete app, reinstall, continues to crash. Updates never address the problem...

Its amazing how you still advertise this app on television. Constantly crashing since March. I guess the techs working on an update are all on vacation!!!!

Crashes ALL THE TIME making it worthless. Dont waste your time! I tried removing and replacing the app and rebooting my iPhone... Nothing helps this useless app.

Cant get through one article without the app shutting down.

Get the folks that made NYPOST app. It rarely crashes. I get to read two sentences if I get that far. Horrible. Ive deleted it about ten times

This app has been crashing since 2015. Who at the Daily News is responsible for the integrity of this apps operation? This is bad business and bad "news."

Like other people have reported the daily news app repeatedly crashes. I too had suffered the same. I decided to remove the app, hard reboot my phone. Then power down my phone. Yes, twice reboot. Afterwards I rebooted the iPhone and re installed the DN app. I havent had a crash since.

Come on guys. Fix the crashing issue. Please dont make me read the NY Post.

Ive deleted and reinstalled this app at least 5 times and the problem still exists. I couldnt handle it anymore and I deleted the app for good. It was too annoying to try and hurry to read an article before it crash

One thing the daily news is great at, delivering crap news in paper format and having an app that crashes constantly now for over 8 months. Worst app I have downloaded my phone. Mortimer Zuckerman you should be ashamed of yourself and your crappy news apps.

They took a perfectly good app and added an annoying pop up ads feature. If you pay for an app you shouldnt have pop ups. Aside from that, I have to re-open this app 5 or 7 times before it stays open. It crashes every 4 seconds. Then when it stays open you have advertisements distracting you. Its so bad that you cant make it through an article without the app closing down. Add pop up literally every 5 seconds. Dont waste your $$$. Buy the New York Post app instead. This is one of the worst apps Ive purchased.

This app has been crashing for me for over a year. I take it off my phone then put it back on to see if that helps. Nothing. And for them to have not had fix this with all the terrible ratings it has right now is pathetic.

The physical paper would be great to line a bird cage with. Too bad I dont have a bird, so I have no use for this trash. Worst reporters, dumb stories, and poor management, this paper wont be in business much longer. Dont purchase anything in app, and certainly do not support the advertisers of this rag.

Had this app for several years. Last 6 months or so it continually crashes. Really disappointed. And the worst part is, the NY Daily News doesnt even care. If they did, it would have been fixed long ago. Just updated the latest of the app on Sept 18 which stated it fixes the crashes. Did nothing to stop the crashes when I open app. Another reason why I left NYC in 1981 for the more caring Southern States!

New iOS update seems to have fixed bugs in this app. Works greeat now

Still continues to crash. I wish it would work because I like their sports section

I used this app as my main source of local news for a while. However, a few months ago it began crashing every few minutes. Even after updating several times it now crashes every few seconds. Seems like this may be an attempt to get people to use a fee based digital version of the newspaper. There is no other reason why the developer wouldnt have fixed this MAJOR bug already. Looking for another local news app now.
